The Reviews section contains ratings of the attractions we visit, the shops and services we use as we travel, and the places we stay in.
Value: The purpose of chronicling our opinions of the places and things encountered as we travel is to reflect the value we feel we have received, not the price we paid. In every case, we will have paid for the items we are discussing, giving us the perfect vantage point to comment on how we feel about value received for money spent.
Truth in Advertising: We also wish to offer a comparison of what is said in the hype and what we found out about the reality.
Long-time marketing communication people, we are now retired from the performance of that arcane art.
The sticky trap of the commercial message can be disappointing to our fellow travelers at the least, and dangerous at the worst. We hope to offer unbiased information about things encountered in the randomness of our travels to people who are searching for alternate perspective to published marketing efforts of vendors.
Because our opinion is based on our own experiences, our review is essentially archival. We will not update a comment unless we revisit.
