About Moveable Feast
Darryl September 16th, 2007
The expression ‘moveable feast’ is an old expression, one that designates holy days that have no set calendar date but that move in response to a time of rebirth.
Our moveable feast documents the travels of Canadians Nancy and Darryl Goede.
Similarly for us, there are no set days, no grand planned route, no schedule, only faith that each day should be new and different, served up fresh as we travel.
Trading a quiet island life, we have resumed our journey… North and Central America via fifth wheel trailer, with sidetrips to other places around the world. This time, however, we are free of clocks and calendars, other than to know that eventually certain parts of our journey will without doubt, end.
In travel, there is an inevitable internal journey as well as the physical. This account aspires to serve also as a sketchbook of the changes, perceptions, observations, and shifts that travel has the tendency to encourage.
